My buddy that is local to me is a 4x4 8spd auto Ram. Maybe it's just me. What are 6.2L 4x4s or 4x2s running with headers and CAI ? My best ET so far is 8.89 at 78mph 1.90 60ft

These new Hemis especially with 8spd autos in Dallas are low 8.20 8.0 1/8 mile trucks. My buddies crew cab 8spd ran 9.70s in the 1/8 after 3.92s and a cold air with car removal and a tune he's **** runs 8.40s back to back
On the street he pulls me a good 2 solid trucks from a roll. Digs I'll leave him but he'll catch me around 80mph. These new Hemis are definitely making me trade in my truck or I'll lift it and give up on performance.
Sounds like you need a Ram.... where the rest of us in the world with DI 6.2's will just keep smoking Rams lol. I don't know what to say... I give credit where it is due but Rams here are almost like 2:1 any other truck as they give the stupid things away so it's a pretty good pool to pull from. My tuner posted a vid of him custom tuning a 2013 Ram the following day after he tuned my 6.2. This was on of course the same dyno as my truck with the same weather conditions so you can compare numbers. Fully tuned with intake and exhaust that heap still didn't the make the power my truck did bone stock..... so..... lol. And the Ram picked up around 35 rwhp and 40 lb ft at the tires with the tune to boot so it's not like the tune was holding it back.....

I go to the track quite often too but just don't always run... unless it's a Reg cab the Rams are in the 15's or high 14's at best..... There is piles of them there so I doubt like hell they are all completely stock lol.

Of course if I ran in Texas on a sea level ( or below) track I would be considerably faster too..

Yeah after paying $65k for truck and mods it doesn't do justice my 2011 6.2L Harley truck pulls my race car better. After this I'm done with gas trucks.

You have a dud obviously... I had 2 of those 6.2 Ford heaps.... This Chev hands the *** to my Fx4 that had long tubes over and above all the other mods. Sell it and don't just keep it and hate it.

I wouldn't doubt it doesn't help his cause.......... My LTZ double cab 4X4 is a heavy enough truck.... add more junk and an extra size cab plus probably factory 22's ( I put a set on mine for non racing and yeah.. they hurt).... Not much of a racetruck lol.

Planning on swapping out my 22s for race star 17s this fall on 28" tires. That should help and not give up on it.....

On other news my buddy's 2016 Ram express with 28" slicks 17" wheels with a CAI, bigger TB and muffler delete plus tune just ran this 30min ago in 2900 DA

Man I hope I'm not dissapointed with how mine runs. I hope it puts a couple lengths on my SS with equal mods. Maybe I'll go try them out together in Mexico one of these nights
