Default Rust bucket 03 turbo build
Might as well make a build thread. Picked up the truck from a member on here last year. Had a 4.8/t56 combo. Going with a forged 370 with cnc'd 799 heads and a on3 turbo kit backed by a 4l80e.

Putting big numbers down. Lol. 285hp. Long tubes exhaust cutout open, black bear tune, volant cai.

I see worse here as well. But i just hate rust so i went with it. I might look for a clean regular cab at some point.

New .30 over pistons.




New stock stroke K1 crank.




Block is cleaned and ready for machine work.

76mm. I am fully aware that there are much better turbo kits out there. I'm spending my money on the engine and trans. The turbo kit is just a bolt on that can be swapped out.

Trying my best to slow the rust down. Spent a couple hundred dollars on Por15 products.


Por15 on the frame and rockers.




Por15 rubberized undercoating on the bottom of the cab. I learned instantly that eye protection is a must with this stuff. My contacts didnt appreciate it. Lol

The truck came in work truck trim. I swapped the interior to what i feel is a nicer more comfortable interior.






Dropped some coin on nice floor mats.
