Just looks like a nitrous backfire blew the manifold apart.

 

So he (a) was testing his solenoids and wot switch key-on then decided to start it up (b) didn't install any pills, just two 4AN lines and cranked it up. There had to be some gas pooling involved for such havoc. What's the story or do you not know?
