Working on appearance this off season.

Well since the old whore is running good ive decided to spend time on making her 12 year body look better.

My bed had a bunch of small dents on each side of the bedrails, so i had it professionally painted. Turned out excellent.Left inside alone as i'll spray in a liner.

Im thinking of getting a steel roll pan? what do y'all think??

Also i added 02' Yukon Denali seats and door panels/ dash grab. Still need to finish interior and paint some of the trim pieces.

Left the hood this time at the paint shop for a repaint top and bottom. My blower belt broke and dented it:cry:

So i should i go old school and drive with no hood on???:redneck:

Still have to finish my exhaust, lower another inch and possibly diff. wheels.
Also going to do a Racetronix hot wire kit for the fuel pump.

Im just another guy who enjoys working on an old chevy truck:devil:

Looks good for a 12 year old truck.
I say no on the roll pan. Not a big fan of them.

ChevyTruck 03-06-2012 06:58 PM

Yeah keep the real bumper, I like the painted chrome much better. :)

Hell, that looks good for a new truck! Nice job, you're always improving!

BlackGMC 03-06-2012 07:31 PM

I like the roll pan on lowered trucks. Bumpers only on stock or lifted trucks. Interior looks good!

AKlowriderZ71 03-07-2012 12:38 AM

I'm not feeling the extra interior color, personally. That pillar pod of yours is still burned into my brain too, so I've got that stuck in the back of my mind also.

OR........maybe I just hate your whole truck since it's faster than mine. :P

pewterliftedz 03-07-2012 01:35 AM

looks good as always tim. I say keep the powdercoated bumpers and wheel. maybe come down another inch or 2

custm2500 03-07-2012 06:12 AM

No on the roll pan! They look great on a lowered truck but stock or lifted they are out of place.
Is that valance going on this truck?

slpsilverado 03-07-2012 08:13 AM

No truck with fender flares needs a roll pan. Leave it alone.

BLACKND 03-07-2012 08:57 AM

Looks good Tim. I'm with most of the others. No on the roll pan.

BigKID 03-07-2012 09:15 AM

Looks good Tim! I need to do the same thing as my truck is starting to show her age and I have the same dents on top of the bed rails from years of people leaning on the truck at the track and car meets. I also recently had the same underhood accident when a belt let go. I think I am going to take the opportunity and do a full exterior makeover though. :D

Vortec350ss 03-07-2012 03:03 PM

Looks awesome Tim! One the coolest trucks on here IMO. Subtle, very nicely done, and BAD ASS!!! If I had the funds I would have a TVS1900 purely because of you and this truck.

ltr450ryder 03-07-2012 03:07 PM

truck looks great tim nice john deer too lol

Thanks bro! Love the lil Deere man!!!!!!!

Im gonna keep the black powdercoated bumper i have , thanks for the comments / advice guys! Sometimes you get going and not sure when to stop, i just want to keep things fairly clean and simple. Wish i had a better camera to do the truck some justice, the new paint and no dents really looks soooo much better in person. Its a tough game to keep up with all the awesome trucks on this site

With the title I was expecting something different. Thought maybe you were going to let your hair grow and work out some.

PS. Its Appearance. Your Welcome Timothy.

Looks good homie.

BlackGMC 03-07-2012 06:12 PM

Holy multi-quote madness batman!!!!

I just noticed the door panels, pretty slick man! I wish i could find a full leather interior like that and the money to buy it.

Speakign of which how much were the seats? I would love to retro fit some Denali buckets into my back seat of the SD... that would be slick. Make my interior like the 2003 HD f150.

500 for the seats and panels off craigslist, hard to find without tears !

Yeah Vortec that would be awesome, i'd love to do captains chairs in the rear of my duramax.

And yes Pat i know i forgot a "P" . Damn i hate not bieng able to edit the titles!

AKlowriderZ71 03-08-2012 08:30 PM

I think you can edit the title, if you click "go advanced" while you're in the edit window. But I'm not positive...

AKlowriderZ71 03-08-2012 08:31 PM

Or you can ask a supermod to do it for you. :)

It's gonna look great when you get the rest of the interior done. I like the lighter tan color alot more than the regular dark tan. And I agree with keeping the rear bumper too.

Oh, and grandpa truck cap off!! Tonneau cover for "summer mode". :D
