Upgraded the Wilwoods

So... still on work assignment out here in Louisiana. To date I''ve been out here for just over a year. Looking like I'll be here a few months longer. Long story short some local shop damaged my rear brakes. Ended up pulling the trigger on a brand new set of brakes. Dropped shipped everything to Sharp Customs in Tampa to do some powder coating of the brake components. Excellent work as always. Thanks Marcus!

I like the finished product so much I am going to have to do the same for the Escalade and I have a set for the Crew Cab already there. Can't wait to get them on my truck and said truck shipped back out here.

They were white, so guessing they hit them with black after the silver???

Sorry, Not I don't get on this site on a regular bases these days. Work keeps me busy.

It appears the Wilwood process powder coats then etches the lettering. Over time the letter will stain, get smudged, or you will see conditions where the coating runs on the lettering. Decided since I went down the path of replacing my brakes thanks to the lame shop out here in Louisiana, that I would change the color, make it last longer and address the lettering issue.

It was a staged process effort. 1st we prepared the surfaces. We then powder coated the parts. Waited for them to cool down, applied the graphics, then applied a coat of clear. The lettering is under a nice baked coat of clear which should also help with the staining and smudging issues while making the maintenance and cleanliness part of the brake set up easier. We'll see. Plan in work and parts at the shop for a set of brakes for the Crew Cab and will looking into doing the same on the other ride.

Thanks.
