Default Tire opinions......

I'm getting ready to purchase tires for my Joe Gibbs wheels and am considering these three tires. 1)Kumho ECSTA STX 2)Hankook Ventus RH06 or 3)Toyo Proxes ST. Will be going with 285/50/20 and need some input based on what everybody here has seen or used. I was originally going to go with the GY Eagle GT II but all the reviews I've seen have not been that encouraging.

dont go with eagles. They wont last that long. any other tire would be great. All three of them should be around the same price range, so i'd go with the toyos.

I agree with BBLS1 on the GY Eagles. Had those on my truck and went through them in 25000 miles. Now I'm running the Kuhmo ECSTA STX. Love em!

I got here too late...I would have recommended the Toyo Proxes, as that's the exact tire and size I have on mine and I'm very happy with them. Be sure to update us on how the Kumho ECSTA STX's work out for you
