time for a truck makeover
Ok, so long story short, the dealership I'm working at is closing December 1st, and my boss is opening an independent shop with the owner's son in the body shop. The body shop will still be working, with the addition of our independent service shop. I was talking with my boss today and asked him if i could fix the body damage and re paint my truck when we open on Dec. 2, and he said it was OK. So here's the plan. I am going to fix all of the body damages, replace the front end with an SS bumper cover and grill, roll pan, and (possibly) Intimidator SS wing. The body shop guys said they would help me whenever i needed, and the paint guy said he would teach me how to lay down paint. My only dilemma is what color to paint it. Let me get some feed back please, and also if you have a single cab SS clone, feel free to post pictures!!!! :)

Ya he should've never sold that truck.
|
uh, yes he should have :P
As far as paint, I kinda toss that one around but thinking of having an exterior color an engine bay and wherever else not match turns me off a bit and the labor necessary to paint everything.... If you are going to pick one of the 2 above I'd go with the "Carbon Metallic" |
bill, im going to paint everything. i have another car to drive (06 mustang GT ) so the truck will stay at the shop until it is done. im going to go the whole nine yards with this, especially since im not paying for labor

I've always been a fan of midnight blue metallic, It's a older ford/Lincoln color.. I do like charcoal grey..
