After you get done detailing it, put a cover on it and never ever take it off. I can't keep my truck looking mint for more than a day.

eagle one detail spray works good , also does adams detail spray . when i had my black s10 i would wipe it down every other day .

Black freaking sucks, I will prob never have another black vehicle.. Key is to just keep it clean.. I try to run my truck through a brushles car wash at least once a week, wipe it down completely dry, keep at it with a detail spray.. I use turtle wax ice when I wax it for real, I have to say it is prob some of the best stuff I have used so far...

I have the charcoal color, and it still always has water spots, especially under the side mirrors, and in random spots on the tailgate :ripped:

prolly just takes careful polishing after every drive

It's hopeless. My wife's charcoal-colored car constantly has spots on it.

Hmmm, well the water at my house is hard as hell but i never have water spots... All i do is twice a year clay bar, then polish, then Mequirs (sp) NX 2.0 wax... Then i wash it every couple of weeks with regular mequiars soap... the key is not let the water dry while your washing it....
