Something bugging me...

Ok, so to start with, I try and keep my truck clean. Non food or drinks if at all possible, wash wax, vacuum, full detail every weekend. Despite this, Ive been finding some kind of bug type things living in the carpet under my back seat. They look kinda like meal worms or little maggots crawling around in the carpet :barf: So far I've vacuumed them up, they came back, shampooed and scrubbed the carpet, they came back. Even tried to bake them to death by leaving the windows up all week the other week when it was in the upper 90's and the little things still are crawling around back there. :bang: Anyone else have this problem or have a good idea how to solve it? My next step is gonna be pulling the back seat and trying to steam clean back there.

Hmmm...maybe I just need to be more aggressive with my vacuuming then.

More than likely it's Carpet Beetles, Google images to be for sure.

^This. Don't be surprised if you have to get new carpet to fully get rid of them. They are resilient little critters.

time to pull the carpet for a good pressure wash with some tough chemicals. I wonder what brought them in? never heard of it before.

Yup, a google image search confirms thats what they are. No idea how they could have gotten back there. Looks like its time to do some heavy cleaning. Thanks for the help guys!
