Show me your speaker boxes
I am trying to get some ideas as how I want to set up my subs under my back seat, so all you guys with extended cabs show your pics of your boxes. Let me know how you like your setup too. Thanks guys.

I dont have a pick of mine but I was able to get a JL Audio 12w6 mounted under the back seat. This speaker is deap and has a lot of excersion. Sound is incredible. Like having 2 12's from most other companies.. Even easier would have been to build a box for 2 12W3's from JL... MDF is cheap I say start cutting and see what happens.. I used the stealth box photos from JL as my model.. good luck

I put some pics on the link in my sig, sorry, can direct post from webshots. I can get some measurements if ya need em. This box has 2 seperate chambers about 0.80 CF each.
What do you not like about your box Keuka, since it seems that you think that it could sound better.

with any box being underneath the seat, you are limited to how much space is available for a box thus sacrificing good volume which should equal better sound, i think. i have seen alot of guys on here build custom boxes either out of MDF board or fiberglass. i wonder if those sound better than mine? i have 2 10" subs in there right now. no doubt if you take the back seat out and make a bigger box it should sound better. as for my MTX thunderform, it sounds good with some songs, but shitty with others. i guess it depends on the song. MTX took the volume that they had to work with , and tried to make the best accoustic box they could, i think. you can't really shake a penny off the car next to you or trigger car alarms with this box. if you are in house, you might hear me go by, but it doesn't really hit that hard. i don't care really, as long as it sounds good to me in the cab. also, i think it would help if i installed Dynamat. anyone have this? does it help? my cab vibrates too much

This is simple yet effective. It gives me exactly the air space I need to run the Kicker L7 12. It will effect you if you haul people a lot in your truck. I don't so it doesn't bother me. I built the box myself for about $15.
