Dropped her off this morning. The body shop guys all know my truck, which kinda scares me. I put a tune in it when I dropped it off with a 2000 RPM/25 mph limiter

 

I wonder how many times they will bounce it off the limiter trying to beat on it...
Nice find on the hood btw..

 

I figure that 2000 is low enough to not do any damage...won't be able to build any boost that way. I verified with the guy I left it with that they wouldn't need to take it out on the street for anything, and told him what I did with the tune, so hopefully that will kill any desire that anyone has right there.

 

So are you still going with SS bumper?

 

I'm still on the fence about that. If I do it probably won't be for a little while.

 

So you just have it into the body shop just to paint the hood?

 

Yep! That's it for now. I'll keep an eye out for good deals on the paintable grille shell and rear bumper, but those aren't a priority. I need to finish paying off some debt.

 

Dam that valet mode. probly smoke that 403 with the fueling and timing it will run WOT at 25mph 2000 rpm.

 

Fuel cutoff my friend It would be like bouncing off the rev limiter, or hitting the stock 97mph speed limiter, except a lot tamer.

BTW, I saw a truck in my color all matched on the front end and took a crappy cell phone pic. Looks pretty good to me

Seems like your truck would look good colormatched, its at the Body shop, might as well. I like the speed grilles on them as well??
