you dont have to pay someone to paint match stuff, you just pull it off (how, im not sure) then sand it down a little with high grit paper, paint thin, sand some, paint thin, sand some, paint paint paint clear clear clear clear clear etc. just go to autozone and get some auto paint in the spray can and swipe back and forth even and pretty thin for the first coats. it wont be too time consuming as long as you dont try to watch it dry.

Yeah do that^, and if you can't afford a billet grill yet, then paint the grill silver until you can.

I wouldnt try to paint the grill shell yourself. If this is your first time painting something that big it'll probably end up looking like crap. I color-matched my bowtie and was really careful with the prep and painting, and it still doesn't look quite right.

For now, get a billet grill and clear corners. Save up and buy a high quality billet grill, you won't be disappointed.

yeah this is why i dont want to paint myself. i have tried to paint plastic before and it is not fun. i guess maybe if i could get an extra one from the junk yard to practice on and if it turns out good use that.
