I know my AR Trench wheels are around 23-24lbs...I know for a fact that the 22's only weigh 27lbs. Pretty light rims.

Those are great looking wheels. I looked on American Racing's website but couldn't find any listed weights. I'm going to make some calls and check them out tomorrow.

My truck would look great with 22's but I don't want to sacrifice the performance factor. Even if 22's weighed the same as 20's the 20's would be faster because more weight is closer to the center axis.

My polished stingray IIIs with 275/35/20s weigh in at 55lbs. It cam up a while back and someone else had the chrome version of mine with a 275/45/20 and was in the neighborhood of 70-75lbs iirc. So unless you are running a small tire under 28" tall on them I don't think you will meet you 50-60lb goal. And the offset will not be the same as stock. I don't remember exactly what the stock 20s are, but want to say 30-35mm where centerline is 12mm.

Same here, I really like the look of 22's but don't want to sacrifice performance. I don't have much to spare.

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that there are really no good options out there. Even in an 18" size there are very few rims that actually look good and are relatively light. Seems like there is a huge void when it comes to good looking (non-boat anchor) wheels for GM truck aplications. I wish a company would step up and fill that void other than centerline whose wheel designs aren't all that great, nor is there service.... Only other option is to go intro/budnik/Iforged, etc..... but count on spending big money for anthing in that size range.

My 22x10 intros with 285-35-22 tires weigh in about 77lbs.

Those look nice and my truck could use 22's to fill the Huge wheel openings. But I'd like to cut weight with a new combo. I think my stock wheels and tires are in the 75lb range.

With 20" wheels I found a tire on tire rack are 275/50ZR20 Continental CrossContact UHP's at 35lbs ea and a 30.8 Diameter. So with 24lb wheels that should put me pretty close to my goal. Has anyone run the UHP's?

Total Weight of 59lbs isn't to bad for 20's

I did the same research several months ago. I looked at the continentals as well, and they were pretty much the lightest tire in that size range, only prob tho is that they are expensive since they aren't a common tire size. When centerline qoutes there 20" wheel weighing 25 lbs that is for the 8" wide rim not the 8.5 and I believe the rapid or the stingray III are the only ones that are that light. Or that is what I was told by centerline, I had them pull some wheels off the shelf and weigh them.....You are probably looking at somewhere closer to 61-63 lbs per wheel at the lightest in a 20", still not too bad considering.

I'm talking to a company right now about making a billet wheel in an 18" and 20" for GM truck app's. The 18"s should weigh right about 23-24lbs and the 20"s about 27 lbs. Will be making a thread soon to see what kind of interest is out there for a lightweight, good looking, 18"-20" wheel
