Just a thought, but I say outline it in a pale/baby blue for some contrast and it'd look really hot

Looks good!! I like that the paint colors are close enough that it is still somewhat subtle and not overwhelming.

The exact effect I was going after...actually the base color is the same...the tribal is multiple coats of white pearl clear over pewter then another 4 coats of clear on everything.
