hey guys by any chance do you all know if a steering wheel from an 03 silverado be direct bolt on into a 00 silverado? Will the air bag connector from the 03 steering wheel work with the one from the 00, or would something else be needed so that the air bag of the new steering wheel can work?

 

i think it'll be a direct fit.

 

It wont work. I looked at doing this to my 00 a few months ago. I did a search and it turns out that there are two connectors for the 03 and up and the 00 only has one.

 

do you happen to have an extra 03 -up steering wheel?

 

Are you needing a wheel with steering wheel controls (radio, DIC) and airbag. I have one minus the airbag and has the holes for the controls but no controls in it. It came out of my 06 and was only used for about 3000 miles.

so then i would have to buy the whole thing in order to install the o3 steering wheel?
