Those are NOT 99-02 Escalade guages. These are 99-02 Esky guages:

The pics that I posted are from what is supposedly an 04 ESV Platinum edition. They didn't have the platinum edition any other year, did they? Do all of the new SUV's have the new dash/guages?
See the difference?

Compare your 04 ESV Platinum picture above, which is really the 01-02 Esky, to these pictures of an 04 ESV Platinum Edition from Cadillac's website.

Notice the different steering wheels, double din stereo opening, dual zone A/C controls, how the tranny temp guage and the ring above it are both overlapped by the tach, and as mentioned before, how the DICs are in different locations. This is the dash layout of all 2003+ GM Fullsize trucks and SUVs, regardless of brand, model, or trim level. All 2003+ GM Fullsize trucks and SUVs, regardless of brand, model, or trim level have the new class 2 data bus electrical system. Because of the changes, the dash layouts are slightly different from 1999 - 2002 to 2003+. This means that guages, guage bezels, dash bezels, steering wheels, radios, A/C controls, etc. will not swap between a 2003+ and a 1999 - 2002.
I hope this finally clears up the confusion.

Unfortunatley, I guess I'm more confused now than ever.
In the pic that I posted that I thought were ESV Platinum guages, the tach has a redline, and goes up to 6500. And, the marks are different underneath the numbers. They aren't the same guages.
Well, since this guage isn't in the Platinum ESV, can anyone tell me what it came out of? It is definitely different than standard 99-02 Escalade guages, and I'd like to get them so I can see above 6000.

Scream, those 2 pictures look the same to me except for the red part on the tach and it going up to 6500. They are IDENTICAL (to me)...GM just added that part.
My guess is that it won't work because the wiring is different...I don't know though.
Did I see part numbers on all these gauges or what?
