C-notch tomorrow
Tomorrow I'm doing my cnotch.
I've got all the stuff and feel pretty confident that it'll turn out great. I'm also swapping the shackles and setting them to 1in of drop. I'm also adjusting the pinion angle. I know about using jackstands before and aft of the axle. I've already pulled the hitch off so I don't have that to do. I have the following tools: Sawzall with new metal cutting blades 1/2 electric hammer drill 1/2 cobalt drill bit Small drill bit for pilot hole New BT SP shocks. That should take care of my rake. Anything else I missed? |
I would (and did) keep the hitch on. I figured it would help stabilize the frame before the notches are in place.

My hitch has been off for almost a year now. I don't suspect I'll have any issues. |

Thanks.

Sounds like a productive day. Good job! Post pics when you can.
I had my C notch completed just under a month ago. sure rides a lot better. |

It wasn't terrible by any means.
I just need to swap my shackles out for either the stockers or 1in drop shackles. |
