Default anyone know if 33x11.5s will fit on a new chevy?

I know that 33x12.5s (305/70/16) need a lift and 32x10.5s (265/70/17) are stock...but does a 33x11.5 (285/75/16) need a lift. Avalanche without cladding.

Go to the Chevy Avalanche Fan Club, which has over 12,000 members. There is a section in the forums just for this topic.

I ran 285/75/16 for several years with no promblems. They are not quite 33"s. More like 32.7.

265/70/17 is 31.6 inches tall. a 33 will fit depending on the backspacing.

my 24s are 33 1/2" tall and 13" wide and dont rub because of the proper backspacing. and my truck is 2wd stock front lowered with shackles in back.
