Zach, what is this staircase u mean?

You referring to how the aftermarket stamping looks compared to stock stamping? Almost 20 yrs ago, I got to see how the top of a knockoff boxside looked. It looked like a washboard it had so many ripples.

Also, factory stampings do have certain flaws. However, they fit like OEM cause their OEM. I just wish GM woulda done factory truck cowls at factory, so I didn't have (wasn't faced with) this issue.
