Any ideals on cleaning up under the hood? Wires the coil packs valve covers just trying to make it look nicer. The 2002 truck have a lot of stuff in there a with adding the blower would be a good time to clean things up some.

Do it on a cold engine. Heat will draw moisture into unwanted places.
I will lightey spray off my compartment and have an old large paint brush to get at parts that need to be wiped with a soapy solution. I use carwash soap. I then gently rinse and let it idle so the belts can get their grip back and then drive it to let the fans and motor heat dry it.

This is just my opinion, if your wanting it to look nicer redo the wiring harness... It is a PIA, but worth it. Take off all the wiring covers and electrical tape and reroute all the wires. I did not have to cut anything to route mine the way i wanted it. I still need to finish it by putting all the wiring covers back on, but it looks much better.

here are some pics.

I agree^ the first time I start to mess with it the wiring harness is getting re-routed. Or move the coil packs, make a cleaner look too IMO
