2006 silverado grille paintable part # or chrome #
 

i have now painted my chrome grille twice, once with no primer, second time with adhesion promotor. shoulda used self etching primer :bang: regarless, last time i did it i was carrying my delicate grille into the warm garage, but on my wait to the door, dropped it outside in the 29 degree weather, and snapped on of the side molding off. its super glued together right now. :D but i didnt do a perfect job on painting it cause i was tired, and aggervated with the breaking. one of those things you should stop and hold off a day, but im impatient. so id like to find the paintable 06 silverado grille if it exists? i was wondering if the SS grille is the same grille? cause those are paintable OEM. if anything maybe a good place to buy a cheap replacement? if all else fails ill go chrome again and redo it... but i reeeeeally dont want to... appreciate it fellas!
