I love these Welds and those Cosmis you were talking about, they are some sweet wheels
I've got Stingrays in 22" on my SS. You could buy my Stingrays, and I could buy some 20" Welds.

I have been happy with mine. Just a word of caution though, you will need some splined reduced diameter lugs to fit. I also recommend retorqueing after the first drive. I installed mine right before going to an event with minimal drive time and didn't check the lug torque. They got loose on the first run. I thought I had bent one of them. Re-torqued and all was good.

pic for the thread...

Well I've got 20" Stingrays on the wife's SS, they're in great shape but AFAIK they're the original Stingray design with the smaller holes; they don't look anywhere near the same as my 22's. Hey I'm just aiming to please..

Truck looks great! 20x11 in the rear? Stock width rear axle? I guess you mentioned the tuner style lugs because the Welds have small lug holes? That's good to hear; the smaller the lug hole the less options thieves have for hammering crap onto your locks to pull 'em.

We really should always be re-torquing our aluminum wheels of any brand/construction after the first shakedown run.. glad to hear you lucked out. I've seen more than a few wheels get ruined, fenders/quarters get buckled, etc.

I had the same wheels on my old Tahoe. They are now on my brothers Suburban. I always liked the simple and clean look of them.

That's correct. 20x11 square and a stock width axle. The lug holes are a tight fit with the splined socket. A couple of them drag slightly while tightening the lugs but will self clearance.so not a big deal. The wheels are clear coated so I am just concerned the break in the coating will spread to the face of the wheel over time.

Well crap, I already ordered a set of standard black acorn style lugs. I guess I will have to search for a new set to fit. Thanks for the information on them. I cant wait to get them on the truck.

Do the 9.5 wide wheels have enough backspace to tuck on a 2003 Silverado with a 4-6 drop? I am currently running a 8.5" wide Tahoe wheel with approximately 31mm offset and 5.93" of backspace that fits perfect but I am in the market for new wheels. I would rather not introduce rubbing issues or change the stance of the truck just to have new wheels.

The wheels finally came in after 5 months!! The 4th wheel came the next day, hence not in the pic.

They are getting ceramic coated then I need to get tires. Im really torn between 275/45r20 or 275/50r20. The drop is done on the truck, the current tires are 265/70r17. I dont know if I want to lose a ton of overall height going to the 275/45, it would be almost 2 inches smaller in overall diameter. My scare is it will look way to small. I dont forsee any rubbing issues with a 275/50 and I wont lose as much overall diameter.
