Since you are short on funds I would do some easy DIY's like remove the chrome molding, the pinstriping and the fender flares. I have had flares on my 2 tone twice and have taken them off both times simply because it just keeps the lines of the truck smooth and clean without em.

Speaking from experience with a 2 tone, don't paint the grille shell without planning on painting the chrome front bumper the beige color, it just doesn't work.

Future plans would be some 20's with some 275/60/20 rubber, color matched handles, cal vue sport mirrors, denali projector headlights with HID kit.

Truck looks like a fun project though! I wish I had got a Z71!
Here is a quick pic of mine I took this morning, sorry for the quality, phone pic.

Hmm... The truck looks alot different without the flares... It makes the two tone bearable...
Maybe do that and a billet grille...

I am seriously debating painting my flares black and then the front bumper... would the sides look goofy?
Anyone have some photoshop skills?

Is that where you open up the headlight and take out the reflector?
If I did clear corners, I would get the black housing and matching headlights... I might be able to afford those.
Fog lights are coming off after my Louisiana trip, going to try some crazy bright bulbs in them.
Door handles... I might try just painting them, I do have a paint booth and gun.
Tail lights... Yeah I was wondering how people did that. It looks really good.
Badges are staying for now... I like my GMC logo too much.

And the grille, Im trying to get someone to photoshop it black with the beige on the bumper. I figured out today that its plastic and looks like it comes off fairly easy. Im debating painting the beige and flares to match the black with a couple nice coats and clear coat, wet sanding... the whole process.

Painting the flares black won't look good with the two tone IMO; just take them off. I think it'd look pretty good with the grille shell painted black, billet insert, clear headlights and corners, and no flares.
