One more thing. Don't forget there are higher ratios available in a 4l80e for our pigs. On really high hp rigs wouldn't matter but I think it would at your level. I would use a drag racing app though...

Have to agree. I know my screw is supposed to be more mid to top end but hell it's got way more off idle than I can use even stock unless I'm in 4wd. I am 6spd though.

Great choice and I think you'll be happy with that. The PC is awesome but just doesn't build any steam in the rpm range. That should put you at about 71-72 mph in 4th with the new setup as your setup...

It's true 4.10's seem counter intuitive because everyone pretty much agrees you gotta load the turbo to get into boost however I think you'll find at the strip the higher gears produce a better time....

The most bang for seat of the pants is definitely gears. Since you're on a budget I would do 4.10's since you drive short distances. 3.90's 4.33's possibly also. However I had 4.10's and 32" tire on...

Maybe it's just me but I would do a turbo on a small ci engine. Don't think you'd get enough to be happy imo. Otherwise do a V8.

Is it because they have to detune them more for mileage and emissions to hang on to the V8's you think? Gotta be faster after a good tune but then the warranty...can't win with GM.
