Default Tundra TRD supercharged goes down!!!

A few months back I was talking my wife and father in law to the mall when a nice looking crew cab tundra pulls up next to me and I notice a little sticker. TRD supercharged. So I took off a little quick like I usually drive and he gets on it and I hear the blower. I was like damn I am going to lose to a tundra so I jump on it about 30. The truck downshifts and I was off pulling him by about 2 trucks by 80 when I let off because of the other people in the truck. So I go on about my buisness and today I pull up next to the same tundra and there is a ext cab witht he same sticker behind him. I was like here we go again. The light turns green and I hit it. he pulls me by about a half a truck right out of the hole and I start pulling on him hard I was like there is no way he is on it. I hear his blower and the exaust roaring but he keeps falling back, when I clear him by enough for my wife to get between us by about 70 and she just pulls away in here Silverado SS.

Does anyone know what these trucks put out cause I was not impressed. All my truck has is boltons on a 5.3 ext cab z71.

Idunno what the hp/tq numbers are, but I did see one run (can't remember exactly) high 13s @ Moroso a few years ago.
The guy with the truck (Toyota employee doing some sort of R&D ) was seriously "tuned in to" the truck. One of the guys with him was a complete TOOL who insisted the Tundra would run 12.8s. Maybe, one day, it did.
That truck broke every single time I saw it at the track. That was some time around 2001.
This prolly doesn't help, does it? Sorry, that's all I know about 'em.

Thanks I think with the blower there probably around 320 or so. I think the 242 stock. But I dunno I was impressed with my truck though.

Jap factory charged trucks are not really all that powerfull. The SC 3.3 frontier was a f'n joke. They believe that a supercharger is designed for economy by increasing "volumetric efficency".

The s/c'd tundra will one day be a a respectable vehicle. Currently, there is very little in the tuning market for the blowers. At one time, trd quit selling the kits due to a lack of tuning capability. I know one contractor (software company) gave TRD a bid of over 50k to come up with a tuning solution. Denso electronics are wonderful.
Until then, they probably won't be a threat.

I work at toyota as a tech and those trucks arent that impressive unless there running a supercharger. One of the reps came down 3 years ago with a supercharged ivan stewart truck running a 9psi pully, headers back exaust and tuned up. It was pretty impressive but they are still all gear no power, especially with the 5spd auto and the 4.11 posi. I ate up my bosses double cab like it was nothing. Im pretty shure power went up in 2004 to 280 from 250-260hp. That 9 psi truck couldnt be full throttle below 40mph unless you wanted to spin tire. It had a/t tires also so that didnt help.

Funny I was just talking about this and a Supercharged tocoma 05 up pulls up next to me today. Needless to say it barley pulled me by about a half a truck getting onto the freeway from 30 to 60 then I pull him by about a half of truck to 100 when I let off. I was like sh*t need more mods.
