RCSB ly6 vs Twin turbo duramax/ dyno vid

So I ran my buddys crew cab longbed twin turbo beast last night. The tune he had it on was about mid 600ish rwhp. fuckin thing hauls ass for how big it is. Pretty proud my truck put up a fight. If someone can embed these or tell me how it would be appreciated lol.

I also hit the dyno this weekend.. we ran it in 2nd cause I didn't want to break the drive shaft in 3rd =[ so it made 380rwhp in 2nd. My tuner said its about a little over 400ish in 3rd. truck definitely hauls more ass but traction is not to found under 35mph :sigh:

cdub81 02-28-2013 11:13 AM

Do you have the dyno sheet you could post up? Nice runs!

Area47 02-28-2013 12:14 PM

a dmax with top end power? thats a rarity

JC03SS 03-02-2013 01:34 PM

Good races. Trucks are pretty quick

allenp 03-07-2013 01:14 AM

thanks guys. that duramax gets it done.

Koots 03-07-2013 01:23 AM

Cool vids and I give your buddy props for being a big, giant, modded Diesel owner who doesn't feel the need to roll coal at every opportunity. I'm more impressed by a diesel that blows no smoke, but I guess that's what a nice set of twins will do :D

Define "top end power"?

It is Chevy1925.

He has a built engine, s475 over stock and IIRC ran a low 12. We keep pushing him to go for an 11, IDK if/when he'll do it though.

CCLB lifted on 37" tires.

Nice runs Allen, can't wait to see what your truck does at the track.

Area47 03-07-2013 09:55 AM

can actually pull to 120 mph without tanking. typical "modded" diesels from a roll can get pulled by a 104-107 mph gas truck with ease.

darnie 03-07-2013 10:35 AM

ya once i get the truck on the road again i may have to take a trip down there :) just waiting to get my drive shaft done.

And that thing is on 37s, 35s have been dyno proven to suck up 100hp, I can only imagine what 37s suck up.

ltr450ryder 03-09-2013 03:12 AM

That's James from dd they had these videos up on there and hr was only on his tow tune those videos says roughly 575 at the wheels his big race to I guess is close to 850 at the wheels so I need a nice healthy shot of n2o :)
