Default got called out today..

Race prob won't happen for a few weeks bit a dude at work wants to run the truck.
His ride
84 elcamino, 350, thumper cam, brodix heads, 2800 stall , and 4:11 gears claims 520hp

The truck.
04 sierra ext cab 4x4 5.3 KB racing turbo kit . 76mm turbo 13 psi. 4l80 , 3200 stall, 3:73 gears 600hp/656tq on 12.5 psi.


I've seen him roll into it before doesn't seem too fast to me but who knows ?

Don't disappoint us.

I think you got it in the bag. Those small block Chevy guys rate horsepower at the crank.

put one of those small block chevy's in the right hands and they can make them haul some major ***.

520hp with a thumper cam??? I think not lol that thing would be hard pressed to make 42
0 at the crank...

He hasn't got a front drive shaft and transfer case is nonfunctional. Still should smoke this guy.

I'm hoping to have the 4x4 fixed soon. And he has something with his steering goofed so said a few weeks. I'm guessing how Much HP and how fast its saposto be is just the smoke being blown. Idk much about the old school stuff so I been humble don't Danna run my mouth and have my *** handed to me lol

He is not making 520 at the crank.

Those old motors with those heads, I could see maybe 350-380 at the tires.

Go wax him and post a video.

Yeah, my motto has been tread softly, and carry a big stick. Let the truck do the talking. I've had a lot of people see my small block all motor Aspen run, then come take a look in the pits and say,"How are you going that fast and still have a cast iron head on it?!"

On another note, get some pictures of the elcamino! I've got a soft spot for those things! LOL
