In his trucks current form Id bet lowish 14s, with a smaller pulley, lts, meth and the tune dialed in he should be solid low 13s. NOt bad for a 6K pig

 

Haha, yeah, low 13's in my grocery getter would be pretty wild. But mid 14's, maybe low 14's sounds about right.

 

So no one knows this guy? I wanted to find out what he had done to his truck. From the sound of it, I'm guessing a cammed 6.0 with long tubes and a stall, and per the sticker, "tuned by Flaco," but whatever it was, it pulled me pretty good.

 

its just that there are so many blk nnbs with tune by flaco so its hard to figure out which one it is

Unfortunately I didn't get a video of it, those are just pictures from my iphone. I completely forgot I could do video with it until after we raced and hit some traffic coming in to houston... hindsight is 20/20 I guess.

Well he just told me that his only mod in that race was a tune by flaco and nothing else. He just recently installed a small cam and said if you would want to run again. He said you kept taking off on the first honk...

He gave me his number incase you want to meet up for a friendly run. So just let me know

 

haha, no, I'm good, street racing isn't my thing, heard too many sad and tragic stories from it.

I figured he had a 6 liter at the least, and exhaust b/c it had a mean sound to it. Well damn, if he says it's just a tuned 5.3, that thing flies.

And yeah, I had no interest in racing and didn't even know he was honking b/c I had the windows up and the music blaring, I was just goofing around. The only time I floored it was when we slowed and I gave it the three honks.

 

thats what i told him but i was just passing the message......its kinda hard to believe but after remembering that i saw my friends 08 reg GMC 5.3 with flaco tune and intake run a 14.2.
