Cam Question????

I was wondering what size cam some of you R/T guys are running? I'm thinking of getting one but not sure on the durration that I should run. This will be the first internal mod done to my engine.

210/220 is what i was going to put but i decided to go a little bigger due to me upgrading damn near the entire engine ... it is a semi-mild cam i heard one in a 2001 r/t and it sounded nice as well as performed. since this is the only interior mod you have keep it mild not wild ..unless you plan on changing out lots of other parts rockers, pistons, heads, etc.

Max lift on a stock 5.9 is .544 so plan your cam up to that height to get the most out of it. You will need to change valve springs if you go that high as the stockers are fairly weak. Duration must stay civil due to the PCM having to control things. Like mentioned above the 210 range is a decent dur.

I run fairly radical due to my extensive mods. 242/248 DUR .582/.579 lift.
