Default whitey 6.2

Well here I am again swapping the motor out because im bored with what I have.

So to start I got a steal on a 6.2 (l92). It dropped a valve and ate the piston. Got lucky and made no contact with the cylinder .. Head on the other hand got trashed.

And with that said im going to stick this little **** in my 07 classic and let it eat, hopefully not its self after I finish rebuilding it.

So plans for the motor:
L92- keep it stock bore and stroke (376ci)
LS9 head gaskets
ARP head studs
VVT delete
Melling HP/HV oil pump
Custom boost cam
Gap rings for boost
hot tank, and hone

Heads:
.660 springs with titanium retainers
Mill them
hot tank
valve job

Thanks man I appreciate it.

well got into this lastnight. OIL pressure wasn't even getting to 40PSI at WOT. So just replaced everything, O-ring, oil pump, cam plate. Lets hope this works!

Well it all turned out great 40 at idle now. So that's a plus. Ordered all the parts I need to rebuild the 6.2 last night. I got carried away fast with parts...oops.
Ill drop the block off at the machine shop when I get back into town next monday

Got my new catch can from Mighty mouse solutions lastnight. Love the look of it. Real clean look and very simple to install, only took 30min.

Well little update, nothing big. Machine shop called blocked is all cleaned up and was deglazed. Cylinder that dropped a valve I guess did hit the cylinder. Has one tiny scratch can barely feel it with his nail, machinist said if it was his he would run it... He is very reputabled so I may just roll with it. Still debating it really.
