That torque curve is nuts. Good job!

One of the Dyno pulls:

A 4Hi launch with a little wheel spin. Need to work on the Caltrac adjustments. My scanner shows about 3.3 to 60 mph. Not too bad.

That's a healthy dose of torque at the blip of the throttle

Man if it was mine and the power curve looked like that I woulda let it keep going.

great power on 11 PSI! Will you crank it up?

I was definitely thinking about it, boost crept past 11 psi at 6000 rpm and hit 11.5 at about 6500 when I hit the limiter. The reality is I don't trust this junkyard LQ9. Haha

I did about 7-8 pulls and didn't expect timing to make such a difference. Without touching fuel, these were the effects of timing.

11 degrees - 502rwhp
16 degrees - 581rwhp
19 degrees - 638rwhp
23 degrees - 651rwhp

With the fans going, IATs never got past 110 and climbed less than 10 degrees on a third gear pull.

Goal is 20 psi, but I'll need an 8-10 rib set up and new engine. lol

Track times in a few weeks, hopefully the runs back up the numbers.

I bet you could get away with another 2-3* of timing

Looks and sounds good, nice numbers. I would turn up the boost before adding more timing.

I agree, I could have. But in my experience, the square port heads don't make much power past 23-24 degrees of timing.

Thanks, yes that's the plan.

It's going to become a complete beast as you up the boost. The difference between 10-11 psi on your combo and 15 will make your head spin.

I'm sure 15 would feel great. I think max boost on my set up will be 20 psi, which should be good for at least 800rwhp. I wonder if an 8 rib would work without slippage?

Unsure if I should upgrade exhaust first as I have 1 5/8 midlength headers with 2.5" collectors and 2.5" true duals.
