What size wheels??
hey everyone! Hoping to find some info on a wheel and tire combo for my 2016 gmc sierra regular cab short bed!
The truck is lowered 2" in the front and 2" in the rear. I still have a bit of wheel gap on the rear but my main question is I'm looking for a detailed tire and wheel combo that I can run daily hut will still give me a decent launch at the track. Truck also has the stock 255/70-17 on it currently. (7.5" rim)
I plan on keeping the stock look so I'm gonna keep the front rims the exact same but for the rears I'm planning to have them widened to whatever width you all recommend based on the tire size you guys think is best. Just looking for some pics and information! I haven't done the lease spring flip kit yet but I feel like it's coming because these stock 255/70s are stupid tall already and there's still to much wheel gap for my liking.
What is the widest rears I can fit without rubbing on the stock suspension?

You could remove the rear lift block on the leaf springs, it's give you another 1-1.25in of rear drop for free.
You'll need to take a tape measure and see how many inches to the factory rim you can add out back before you hit the leak spring. Also factor in tire flex so give little buffer room. I'd think going to 9-9.5in wide would be do-able as a guess.
You could probably run a 295/305 tire size if they make something like that.
