Default Turbo Suburban 2500

Well I'm getting close to installing my 390 boost motor into my Newly acquired 2005 2500 Suburban. I was originally going to install this motor into my 01 2500hd extend cab that I had since 2001, truck only has 90,000. After thinking things over and looking more long term, I decided to find a clean 2500 Suburban. The search for a 2500 suburban that met my needs was no easy task, people just seem to not let them go i guess. I'm starting this thread so I can get some input along the way of this project. This is no race truck, and Im not trying to tow crazy weight over 6,000lbs, will not be my DD either.

So far I'm finishing up end covers and knock sensors and I will give it a quick engine paint job. Looking to drop the engine in some time this December. I have on order a stage 4 Trick Performance kit with the upgraded Precision CEA 7675 and bigger down pipe 3.5". I'm looking for something that jumps into boost and is more street friendly then the bigger BW turbo. I hope im going the right direction with the 7675.

Some up coming purchases I still need to make: Fuel system (besides injectors) and torque converter.

The day I drove up to GA from south FL to pick it up

The day after I picked it up

Clean interior

Captains chairs were a must

Heads opened up a bit by Dart. At the time I lived nearby their shop.

The beehive springs were replaced that you see in the picture with a dual spring from PRC.

Very nice. 2500HD Burbs are very hard to come by. I almost bought one before finding my Tahoe.
If its not a race truck, not a tow pig and not a DDer. What is it ?

Looks nice and clean. What kind of miles did it have?

boost will be in the 10-15 range. I know this motor wont even feel stressed at that level.
