Smile 2000 RCSB 5.3 to '00 6.0L swap

Ok guys tight budget but I'll make it work... LOL

I don't have any pics right now put I'll post when I do.

So I have a 2000 RCSB Silverado with a 5.3... The truck has been rolled over and half a$$ repaired and has hit a 4x4 post on the side but I got it for $100(long story involving a 4-wheeler trade)... anyway I told my buddies the first mod I'd ever do if I got me an ls powerd truck was a 6.0 swap... And here we go!!!

Problem is I didn't know that 99-00 lq4's had longer cranks... So the truck has been sittin in the shop with no motor in it for like 2 months!!! Anyway I decided to put my 5.3 crank in the 6.0 so i'm gunna start on that next week. I couldn't afford a cam but my buddy put one in his 01 trans am and he gave me his cam... As far as I know, it is the stock 01-up 5.3 and 6.0 cam so I should gain a little there... The stock cam specs are below in the list...

Camaro/Firebird
98 12557812 198/209 .500/.500 119.5
99-00 12560965 198/209 .500/.500 119.5
01-02 12561721 196/207 .467/.479 116

Trucks and SUV with Vortec engine
LR4 and LM7
99 12560966 191/190 .457/.466 115.5
00-04 12560967 191/190 .457/.466 114
the 03-04 LM7 used the 12560967 camshaft

LQ4
99-00 12560967 191/190 .457/.466 114
01-04 12561721 196/207 .467/.479 116
01-04 LQ4 cam is same as Camaro, Corvette LS1 and LQ9 cam

Anyway I also bought a Redstar 3000 conveter...

I'll keep you posted on the build...

Update...

So I ditched the stock ls1 cam... Me and my bro made a deal on his b1 cam (221/221 .558/.558 114) and i put it in on saturday... I also put comp 918's and new plugs in. Works so much better when the motor is not in the truck!!!
I got the 5.3 crank in the engine and also the 3000 converter I got from Dozerdan in the tranny... All I got to do is drop the motor in now!!!
I'll try to get some pics taken tomorrow night and I'll post them...

Ok guys, so I got it running, now I just need a good tune! Still workin on it but I made a speedo video anyway. Let me know what you think:

This first video, , shows I only went to 98 but it actually did 103, I think there is something wrong with my speedo

The second video shows my log with my efi-live scan tool, its the same run, I logged the same time I recorded. It shows I went 103...
