No big mods, i pulled the corsa muffler off finally and put on a big 5x11 oval 12589 magnaflow. I was going to put a dynomax ultraflo on but wanted to try out magnaflow. It seems to sound really good and no rasp at all. Hopefully it does get louder some tho, now its really quiet....almost too quiet. I read they get louder as they get broke in, we will see if it ends up like the corsa.

 

Finally have the new deatschwerks 60lb injectors with plug adapters, also I'm going to try the deatschwerks 350 il fuel pump. That should support enough hp, I'll put it where my walbro 190 is now.

 

what made you go with an inline pump vs an intank pump ?

 

I have a walbro 190 now and it seems to work good, I figured I would try a bigger inline pump and connect a pressure gauge. My fuel system does have a return. Probably not too many performance mods left that I would like to do. The cam should wake it up a ton, besides that a 2.7 pulley and a meth kit then I should be done. I would like to shoot for 500hp.

I also like having 2 pumps, one goes and it will still run.

 

So is the TVS supercharger install pretty straight forward?

 

Yea, its a nice kit. It comes with real nice instructions, just go step by step and it works out pretty nice. Now the tune is the key, i used blackbear and justin has been great thru everything. It seems to run really well, i did pulley down for a little more boost and swapped the tensioner for an hd tensioner but thats about it to run 10 psi.

I am getting a little deeper for more power shortly tho with 60lb injectors and a bigger pump before i do a boost cam, just like i stated above. Its by no means a big money build, piece by piece as the extra cash comes available.

 

Thinking about going this route with my new truck.

A cam is definitely coming soon, prob going to do that early next year. I'm thinking right now about ordering an mbrp 4 inch diesel exhaust and my header pipes into a 3 inch in 4 inch out. Then it's all 4 inch exhaust. I have a 4 inch 6 inch round dynomax muffler, I might run the 2 mufflers to quiet it some. I'm going to look into it over the holiday and see what I can come up with.

 

A deal came across that I couldn't pass up today, I picked up a 3/4 tread or better 37-13.50-18s on black 18x9 xd monsters.
