Thankyou...Honestly i think it only looks ok since the trucks so big. Being tall with the tires sticking out help it. I think on a stock or lowered truck it would probably look too big, I seen one today with the bumper style before this without the steps on say an 05 sierra crew cab and it looked pretty decent but didn't fit as nice.

Its been awhile since I've been on here, im back..lol. The truck was in need for some body work, after 17 years of daily driving it i thought it was time.
New cab corners, rocker pannels, bed from the south, grille, bumper top cap and lower valance were bought for this job.. it was supposed to be just a simple blend the paint and be done with it.. Well that didnt happen, my 2 younger brothers own a body shop about 100 miles from me. I pulled the old bed, sold it and drove it to them.
It sat for a few months getting a little at a time, total it was gone 7 months. They got paint ready for a customer that backed out. The paint is from kindig-it, Dave started his own paint line. This one is infrared, pretty cool color. Looks orange but depending on the light its a deep red.
Pulled apart and painted in pieces it came out really good. Here's a few pics....

Final finished pics, still needs to be wet sanded and buffed but it needs to cure alot more. Its in a heated garage near my home for awhile. It needs the frame and suspension cleaned and painted. Headlights are rough looking too. The wheels are getting powder coated or ill pick up another set. I think polished or chrome would look good. I did add new style tow mirrors which look alot cleaner.

Thanks guys..!!!
To be honest last year I bought the new body style 2019 double cab so I don't need to daily drive the HD. Well let me tell ya, after the hd being gone 7 months the 100 mile trip home made me smile the whole way. Indeed I'm rocking the 408 2300..haaaahaaa. instantly I know why I love that truck..
