ok guys gonna start my project thread its basically a 5.3 stock for now haven’t been in the race seen for a few years did have a 05 rcsb silverado on a 4.8 go 11.6 in the 1/4 years ago on spray. Now for this project im going with a custom spec’d cam from roadkill just for my setup sandhauler cam which is being designed at the moment plans are going to be
4:56 on a eaton possi- purchased
1 7/8 lt headers- purchased
either a edelbrock intake or nnbs not sure yet
243 milled .40 with cometic head gasket at .40 flycut
built 4l60
36/38 multi disc
100/150 shot plate kit- purchased
caltracs- purchased
plan on running a stand alone fuel cell to later on run a dual stage nitrous shot when the 5.3 goes

Yea plan on uploading more pics haven’t been to the shop to get any more pictures of progress but recently bought this truck about 6 weeks ago for $485 with a blown motor so im off to a good start haha

I got a a nnbs intake off my 08 sitting in my garage I removed for a shaved intake for my turbo. if you decide that route. Also have a nbs one from a 6.0 I started to shave but didn’t plastic weld it yet. Selling both of them if interested. My nnbs off my truck is perfect condition just removed yesterday. I’ll sell it to you if you’re interested pm me
