Instead of postponing the inevitable you should just do a 80e now.

Lol the Trans is a monster level 3 out of a f body I had laying around. It took out the OD clutches so I put the z PAC in it. So I have almost nothing invested in it. Ya the center of it was painted a matte grey and I just wanted it all to match lol. It looks better than the pics make it lol. More stuff showed today..

Z PAC is a good setup there was only 6 clutch fibers in the old setup and now it has 12 and they are bonded to the steels so should double the holding capacity. So we will see how it holds up.

Kooks hooked me up with a set of long tubes as well as mid pipes so if anyone needs a set let me know! Ima dealer for them... As well as anything else in this thread. Cam kit will be avail after I have numbers.

In a 60 holding capacity isnt the whole story but rather the ability of the steels to disperse heat as well. As we know 3rd seems to be the first to give out. I suppose its a catch 22, more heat causes slip and or not enough holding capacity causes it also. I always had the best luck in mine with thicker steels and less frictions vs. the opposite.

I would rather run a stock 60e with a shift kit than a monster with or without a Zpak . Your wasting your time /effort . Unless you don't mind swapping trans out .

But seriously you should just do an 80e like said and be done with it since you want big power.

Z-pack will die quick at that power level in a truck. They warp easy from the heat.
