Made some progress tonight. Got the heads torqued down and measured for push rod length. Stock48 recommended .020 - .040 preload and with my old btr 7.400's it came out to .037 preload.. Good enough for me! Gonna put all the covers and sensors on the motor tomorrow and get it ready for install this weekend..
Slowly but surely

Got about as far as i can without the transmission. Need to build the down pipe and cold side piping but i need the motor to be in the right spot.
Finishline has had the transmission for almost 3 months and wont answer the shop phone or call you back. They will only communicate via email. I definitely wont be doing buisness with them again.

Been awhile since I have made an update. Got the truck running about a month ago. So here are some pics and updates from the rest of the build.

Got my Ac delco NNBS intake and Holley oem fit fuel rails. Not as pretty as a big intake but I'm going for function over form. Hope this thing helps spool that turbo.

Built a bracket for the intercooler. Went with a tread stone TR1245. Really nice unit.

Intercooler next to the 390/45/15 m&h radials. Big bastards.
