Your vids are great! -- I cam swapped and prepped a 5.3 with an Edelbrock Pro-FloXT for a friend of mine who wanted to boost one, but he started off on the wrong foot with a bunch of mix-matched turbo parts, ended up sinking a big block in the bay instead. The motor sits in his garage

Builds quicker with a load, but this you know. On a roll on from like 3000 rpm it hits 17psi in a tad over 2 sec. On a downshift it’s instant.

i can build as much boost as I want on the footbrake, but I am gonna use the 2 step to limit rpm to around 3000 because after that boost comes in so fast it just spins.

what size fuel line did you come off the front of the fuel rails with? 6an?

I went ahead and grabbed a hi ram, it will be 10an feed to 10an x 8an x 8an Yblock feeding the rails. I'm beating my head against a wall trying to come off the rails to regulator with 8an also, if its not needed the smaller 6an would make it easier. 8an return line from regulator back to tank
regulator is magnafuel boost reference 4 port,

i grabbed the motion raceworks mount that bolts to the timing cover, i think the only way i'll be able to make it work is with hard tube ....it was cheap if i dont use it no big deal

gotcha....looks a lot more workable than trying to make up flex lines or using available fittings.
will grab the flaring tool and some tube nuts/sleeves, i'll find some more stuff to do with hard tubing

I got bored as its as it’s been raining so said F it and polished the compressor housing, kinda a PITA but turned out good. The pictures don’t capture the shine very well. Looks much better in person.

Looks nice! Only a true gearhead cares about what it looks like under a closed hood You ought to take it to neighborhood parking lot shows though and show it off if you're not already! It's a beast.
