My blower has insane IATs, so over the winter might be time for me as well. I am also looking to build my 6.0 (370) who built yours. Is it working well with your converter?
Thanks, Bill

My short block was built by TSP. I built the rest. My converter is not what most would consider optimal for my turbo size but I have no issue with it. I can bring it up to 8-9psi so far on the footbrake. Once it starts to light off it happens quick. I don’t like loose converters, I didn’t build this to be track, I want fast and fun on street and then whatever it runs at the track. It’s faster now with 4-5 less psi.

it pulls and doesn’t lay over. Had it to right around 7k rpm at 12.5psi and it was pulling awesome.

It’s currently running 14psi, and I am in need of a new wheel and tire setup. It won’t hook on a aggressive launch and will haze all 4 on a 1st gear hit. It’s without a doubt putting down a significant more power now then before with the old setup.

You’re 4wd/awd correct? If so how are you getting 8-9psi on the footbrake? And what is your converter stall at?

hydroboost brakes. And yes I am AWD

Here is is a roll on, it will launch much harder but blows off the tires. 14psi peak in this.

Nice. Mine feels like it takes for ever to spool up on the foot brake with and with out the 2 step.

So, now that you've tasted both worlds of boost, supercharger vs turbo. Which do you prefer and why?

Turbo. Just all around more fun. Makes way more power, still plenty responsive out of boost. Quiet and mild mannered out of boost and fast when in boost.

Glad to see you made the switch and you don't regret it. While my truck has never had a supercharger on it, I've driven a lot of vehicles with them. Nothing pulls like a turbo does in my experience.

Mind sharing some info on the cam?
