progress on my 2000 regular cab

its been a long time comin... for those who dont know, its been in for the body drop for a while so i decided to suicide the doors at the same time.. since there was gonna be bare metal, the door jambs would have to be repainted so why not do a color change right? well that involves pulling the motor.. so why not go from the v6 to something bigger right? then i decided to go from the 99-02 front to an 03+

first layer of duraglass sanded down

scraping the frame wasnt bad.. just spray some carb and choke cleaner on it and scrape with a putty knife

this sounds painfully familiar :funny: my truck started as a mild 5.3 daily driver:sigh:

looks like a sweet truck, though I like the 2000 front end better.
