Default Fly by wire to cable conversion

I just picked up an LQ4 to swap out my 4.8 with. The 4.8l has the cable throttle and the LQ4 has the electronic throttle, can I just use my cable throttle and intake from my 4.8? I will be using the LQ4's computer so I am thinking I might get throttle position sensor alerts or something unforeseen. Any help would be appreciated.

Wrong section for this. Try the tuning/electronics section, may get fast/better responses

Use your 4.8L computer and swap over the 6.0 engine data.

It's not that easy to make a DBW computer into a DBC and many times it's not possible to do so.

Thanks for the response, I will send the computer off and have the changes made when I get ready to do the swap.

Yep, way easier to just swap intakes since they are identical between the 4.8/5.3/6.0 engines of the same year.
