Just re read everything on that thread and there is no information on wiring the 80e to run on the 60e tune. I have found the information on wiring the 80e for an 80e segment swap.

Ah! Thank you very much. I saw the thread, but could not keep up with it because of all the unrelated arguing going on in it.

So, if I follow the diagram posted below(wiring swap and relay install), is that all that i need to do to run my 80e on the 60e tune? I saw that some codes needed to be deleted, but thats no big deal. What about the ISS?

I grabbed both o rings because I wasn't sure what revision I needed. Should i use the blue or red. Its a iron headed 2000 6.0. What's the best way to install these without pinching them? Put it on the pickup tube first?

Big update. Got the motor and trans in and running. Here's an idle clip I took.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pACI...e_gdata_player

Its been a while since I updated. I've been working like mad man trying to finish it. I did run into a few problems.

Trans wiring issue:
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...03#post5057703

Exhaust fitment:
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...01#post5057701

Still have a few issues that I need to work out. 1.) A tune, but I can handle that. 2.). The trans yoke. I used the 5 inch yoke. And just under 2 inches was sticking out. Will this be good enough? 3.). I noticed the valve seats weren't sealing when I swapped valve springs. 3 intake ports leaked and one exhaust port leaked. The valves still held up when I changed the springs, but I am a little worried about it. How can I tell if this is bad enough to affect performance?

.
The Manifold was not off before. The studs regularly brake. I doubt anyone messed with them.

Sorry if someone else said this didn't see it in the thread.

A little follow up. I've been driving the truck for about 3 weeks. Everything is good so far. It's burning a little oil, going to put some valve seals on it tomorrow. The trans feels like a tank. An 80e swap should have been my first mod.

Which pick up o ring did you use? Did your pickup tube have the indentation against the flange?

I used the blue one. The red one did not have a chance of going on. It didn't really have an indentation, almost like a loose fitting flange around the tube that bolted to oil pump.
