Well I have been gathering parts for awhile and next week it should happen...... I am doing the GM ASA cam with some LS6 springs and 32lb injectors.... heads are the 862's that I ported the exhaust ports a little bigger and now they are at machine shop getting shaved .030 and 3 angle valve job. The nitrous is all wired up just gotta get bolts for the plate and mount the bottle. Got lots of tuning to do before I can spray it but I'm ready

 

just ordered head gaskets and the window switch.... that should wrap up all the parts I had left to get... valve stem seals cost me $34 today WTF?? Found a hell of a deal on the switch check it out digital and adjustable!!

if tuned right that ASA cam is gonna sound wicked!! 226/236 525/525 110lsa.....isnt that the specs on it?

 

yeah... I figured it would be great for low end power and If i want more I can add 1.8 rockers and gain more top end.... Plus i do love the way the 110 lobe sounds!!

 

32lb injectors or 42lbs? I love the NX auto bottle opener..

started tear down a little tonight.... my girl was planning wedding stuff on-line so I had a window of oppurtunity...... got radiator out and intake manifold off. Picking up heads tomorrow afternoon and right home to finish will post pics tomorrow......

 

Got cam in and 1 head on totally buttoned up... pulley, water pump, radiator and fans back in too..... turns out I ordered the wrong head gaskets... got some for a 97-01 ls1 permatorque's.... Noticed when I got them outta the car with 4 buddies " helping" Went all the way into town to get some and the local store had some... But I left my wallet at home!!! Had to have a buddy bring me my wallet cause they wouldn't do it by phone. got home and it's ONE to the kit!!! Course by then it was 840 and everybody closing so did what I could... post pics and hopefully vid tomorrow

vid will be up in the morning... got it runnin but tune is way off!!!! I am having a prob with the MAF sensor truck will run for a while then MAF codes will trip and cut the truck off.... Odd checked connection and wires but maybe cause fuel table is wack... cam lopes serious!!
