I know what you mean. I needed a 4 door with the kids, but they are all grown up. Won't have to play chauffeur anymore. My turn to have a toy!

Yes. Just wanted a straight drop in motor.

I was shittin' nickels yesterday. Dad called and said they were on standby and may need to evacuate the shop to due a fire. Had a move plan in place for all the cars except mine! Needed a trailer/truck to haul it away if needed. Got that lined up and then got the word dozers were able to create a boundary and fire department was able to contain the fire. Phew...

Thoughts are with those who may have been affected by the wildfires.

Project looks very nice!
I'm so jealous how you southern fellas can go buy a $400 worn out pickup and have a rust free starting point for a killer project. Rust up here is a bad problem. I drive a Vdub all winter.
