Well I bought the truck August of 2011 after my obs decided to give in on me.
-2003 extended cab short bed lt 4x4 z71 -5.3 v8 -all power leather interior The day I bought it Attachment 135518 Attachment 135519 In the next few days I debadged it and removed the z71 Attachment 135520 Then decided to plasti dip my center grill bar, got some painted mirror caps and threw in some tinted tails I had Attachment 135521 Attachment 135522 Kept it like this for a little while and decided I wanted to lower it, so i started getting parts together. the plan was to do decranked keys up front with shackles and hangers out back. While I was getting my parts together I decided to get some rims so i bought a set of 22s Attachment 135523 Attachment 135524 By this time I had my shackles and hangers, so one day i decided to go ahead and pull the z71 blocks and out the shackles on Attachment 135525 Then i found a deal on Craigslist for a fiberglass gaylords bed cover for $250, I talked to the guy and offered him $150 and he took it! So i picked it up that night Attachment 135526 I began debating on whether I wanted to do the hangers or go lower, so i just decided to take the dive and ordered mcgaughys flip and notches and some mcgaughys 17+ 2" spindles Attachment 135527 Attachment 135528 Attachment 135529 Me and my dad tore the rear end down one day and I got to work cutting and drilling, wanting to finish it that day And we did (well almost) Attachment 135530 Attachment 135531 The next day we put the bed back on and i put in some 2500 keys and decranked and threw on some factory 17s I picked up for $200, this is how it was at the dallas meet Attachment 135532 On that following Sunday we did the spindles and a little more colormatching Attachment 135533 Attachment 135534 Added colormatched handles Attachment 135535 Attachment 135536 Then did black bowtie and mesh Attachment 135537 |

Thanks guys, I'm loving the stance so far.. still need helper bags and some colormatching then hopefully start on performance, eventually I would like a built lq9/80e and maybe a supercharger one day :burnout:
