Am I too late for an LT1 swap?
I have an unmolested stock 1990 Silverado 350 with a 5 speed manual and also have a 96 LT1 with a BW T56 6 speed with computer, wiring, gas tank and everything else I believe is needed. I live in southern Oregon where whenever I ask a question, I get no answers. Can anyone explain what kind of swap this is, easy or hard and what exactly may be needed. I'm an ol'man but I believe I could do this if I had some help or helped someone else, if need be. If it comes down to just swapping the 6 speed, it would put a little smile on my face but not entirely
What should I do? Thanks in advance

If you have the harness it should be easy to do.. I think from 93-96 they used opti spark ignition system.. Yours is opti spark?? Everything should be a direct bolt in. Mounts are all the same.. You will have to add electric fans.. The trans will just be some fabbing, brackets, console for the floor, the addition of getting the drive shaft redone to fit..
