Thanks. I managed to sneak away long enough to install the rest of the valve springs. Now I'm researching to see if I need to shorten up my pushrod length or not.

It's good to be I'm assembly mode though.

I snuck to the shop sunday and got the rest of the valvetrain and lower intake installed. Also adjusted the upper control arms to get the massive positive camber dealt with.

I also cut the timing marker off of the front cover so I can run my Moroso pointer with the Fluidampr balancer. I have one of my employees welding the rivet holes shut, so once he's done that can go on too.

Still alot to do, but getting there.

Decided on the no heater option.

I took the dash out today and removed an old alarm, some gauge stuff, the entire heating system, stereo wiring, etc.

Got the dash mostly back in too.

How much does all the underdash heater stuff weigh? I did the same and used the same delete panel but didnt want to mess with taking the dash apart (yet at least) because i fig it didnt weigh enough to make it worth the hassle.

I didn't weigh it all, no scale at the shop. If I had to guess I'd say maybe 10lbs. But I also pulled a bunch of wire, stereo, and speakers.

Thrashed toward the finish, almost back to running. All the motor back together minus some clamps. Still have some upgrade parts to install too. But looks like a truck again.

Now to stare at a tune file for a while.

Love this build. Looks killer, something about the stance of a Syclone is just awesome.

Excuse my ignorance but, how do you go about tuning one of these bad boys?

Simple cheap way is rom editors. I have a moates ostrich emulator and will be using a software called TunerPro RT and bin editor code59.

My buddy has a typhoon and started with a similar setup. Since then we've converted it to a Holley Dominator.

I turned the heater controls faceplate into a spot to hold my Scanmaster gauge using some Kydex. It almost matched. Also got the interior mostly back together.

I can't decide if I want to switch panel the stereo slot or build a big android tablet into it.
