how much does the tire stick out past the fender ?

how much wider is the dually bed than the quadrasteer bed? seems like it would be able to tuck in the dually bed and allow it to sit a bit lower .

great idea though , i just like when big fat tires are tucking under the fender well.

If you are talking about my long bed:

I would love to do a long bed quadrastreer truck though.

Tire is almost flush with bed, about a 1/2 inch sticking out past fender.

A dually bed is about 10 inches wider and just looks goofy not custom.Quad bed is actually a Fleetside bed with a 1/2 of a stepside flare molded in and gives you an extra 2 1/2 inches of fender well on each side.Truck is lowered 4 inches in rear now, anymore than that would require a notch in frame. If I were to do frame work I would have put a narrowed rear under original fleetside. This was a simple bolton that looks badass at the same time.

I really liked the long bed for sure but to save weight and make the truck event more custom I wanted to go short bed.

To the OP. Where do you live? If you narrow the rear and go back to a stock bed let me know I would take your bed off your hands! Maybe swap plus some cash. I really like that quadra bed!

Do you have any shots of the truck directly from the rear? Did you see any decrease in your turning radius? I've been thinking about doing this for awhile, but I'm worried that it'd look funny from behind.
